Colleen Uejo, 2006 Honolulu District Teacher of the Year, receives keys to a new Honda Civic to use for a year, compliments of Pflueger Honda. She is shown with Kevin Keppel, general manager.

CEN DST Joanne Fujita-Oshiro

Joanne Fujita-Oshiro, 2006 Central District Teacher of the Year, was awarded use of a new Mazda (use for a year) compliments of JN Mazda.   She is shown with Nani Ala from the dealership.

KAU DST Ryne Terao

Ryne Terao, 2006 Kauai District Teacher of the year, was awarded a Toyota Camry (use for a year) compliments of the Hawaii Automobile Dealers Association.   He is shown with HADA president Eric Fukunaga.

TOY DST Sheri Kojima

Sheri Kojima, 2006 State Teacher of the Year, was awarded a Volkswagen Jetta (use for a year) compliments of the Hawaii Volkswagen Dealers Association which started the free car program in 2000.   The 7 Cars for 7 Teachers program is an outgrowth of that award.   Stan Masamitsu presented the keys on behalf of the Volkswagen dealers.  

MAUI DST Linda Yonemura

Linda Yonemura, 2006 Maui District Teacher of the Year received a new Honda Civic (use for a year) compliments of the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals.

Stacey Kawasaki, the 2006 Leeward District Teacher of the Year, received a new Mitsubishi from Hawaii Mitsubishi.   She is shown with Robert Chappel.
