HADA Convention

September 18-20, 2025
Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii Island

HADA holds an annual convention to share industry updates and allow our members to network and connect with each other.

The event features prominent keynote speakers from the government and private sectors, educational workshops, and more. 

Hotel Reservations

Special convention rates are available at the Fairmont Orchid, located on the beautiful Kohala Coast of Hawaii Island.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Refund/cancellation requests must be made by August 19, 2025 and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. All refunds will be subject to a processing fee. Cancellations received after August 19, 2025 and “no shows” will be subject to the full convention rate. No refunds for the Welcome Reception, Breakfast, and Cocktail & Dinner. Workforce Development Initiatives

As part of HADA’s commitment to workforce development, we partnered with Honolulu Community College to give students a firsthand look at the auto industry. 

Through summer dealership visits, students explored career paths and gained insight into the future of automotive innovation in Hawaiʻi.

HADA Annual Conventions

View photos from our 2024 convention, “Ho`ala Island Renewal, Industry Revival.” Held at the Grand Wailea Maui, the convention featured keynote speakers, panel discussions, and a golf tournament.

Dealer Day at the Capitol

HADA hosted “Dealer Day” at the Hawaii State Capitol. Members met and engaged with legislators to discuss EV implementation, workforce challenges and the future of Hawaii’s auto industry.

HADA members also met with the Department of Transportation to learn more about the State’s Road Usage Charge Program.

LCC Automotive Tech Program 50th Anniversary

HADA sponsored Leeward Community College Automotive Tech Program’s 50th Anniversary celebration. Current students and instructors came together, as well as program graduates, past instructors, and automotive dealers to connect and celebrate this milestone anniversary.

 

Hawaii State Teacher of the Year

HADA presented Bryan Silver, a Kalani High School science and Career and Technical Education teacher and 2025 Hawaii State Teacher of the Year with a 2024 Nissan Sentra. Silver was selected from over 13,000 educators across the state.
